| I placed an order online, but I never received an email confirmation. What happened?

There are many reasons you may not have received an order confirmation email:
- Did you complete your order? When your order has completed, you will be directed to an order confirmation page. This page will provide you with your order number and the total of your order. If you were not directed to such a page, it's possible that your order never completed. Please call us at (800) 642-1288, and we can verify it for you.
- Perhaps an incorrect email address was provided.
- Many email service providers have overly vigilant spam protection services that block our order confirmation emails.
- Quite often order confirmation emails are returned because the intended recipient's email inbox is full.
You can call us at (800) 642-1288, and we will check on the status of your order, and attempt to resend the order confirmation email to you. |
| How do I change quantities or cancel an item in my order? |

You can cancel or change any unshipped orders by calling us at (800) 642-1288. Please note that most orders are shipped within one business day, so please call quickly if you need to cancel or change your order. If your order has already shipped and you need to return it, please see our returns policy. |

Click the "My Account/Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to check your order status. Please note that you can access this information online only if you created entered a password to create an account during checkout. If you did not create an account during checkout, please call us at (800) 642-1288 for order status queries. |
| How do I track my order? |

When your order ships, we will send you your tracking number to the email address you provided when you placed your order. Alternatively, you can click the "My Account/Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to track your order. Please note that you can access this information online only if you entered a password to create an account during checkout. If you did not create an account during checkout, please call us at (800) 642-1288 for order status queries. |

Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to track your order status. Be sure that all of the items in your order have shipped already. If your order displays your Package Tracking Numbers, check with the shipper to confirm that your packages were delivered. If your packages each show a status of "delivered," please contact customer service at (800) 642-1288 for assistance. |
| An item is missing from my shipment. |

If an item you ordered is on backorder, or is not yet published, we may ship a partial order to you. When this happens, a notice is sent along with your order advising you of the delay. If you received a partial shipment with no advisory notice, please contact us immediately at (800) 642-1288 so that we can investigate it for you. Please also retain the box your order arrived in. Shortage and nonreceipt claims must be made within three business days of the receipt of your shipment. |
| When will my backorder arrive? |

We work hard to keep adequate quantities on hand so that every item ordered is in stock. However, publishers occasionally run out of stock, items are backordered, or projected availability dates on new products are extended. Backorders on out of stock items are usually filled within ten business days, but it is difficult to determine when publishers will have new products available. We attempt to keep this information on our Website updated with the most current estimates, when available. |
