International Shipping
A Special Note to International Customers
  We regret that due to the high incidence of credit card fraud we have found it necessary to implement fraud prevention guidelines. International customers must fax us proper identification to ensure your order is processed without delay. Please fax the following to us at 001-913-393-3204:
  • A copy of your credit card statement, which includes the correct shipping and billing address.
  • A copy of the front and back of your credit card
  • A legible photo identification, such as a driver's license, passport or school identification card.
Please understand that we must impose this restriction because of the very real problem of identity theft and fraudulent credit card purchases.

If you do not wish to use this method to verify your identity and that you are indeed the cardholder, we also offer payment via PayPal. You must have a verified PayPal account in order to use this option. We will not accept payments from unverified PayPal accounts. Please contact us via email with your order number if you wish to use this payment method.

What countries do you ship to?
  We currently offer shipping to the following countries. Although this list is not all-inclusive, we reserve the right to cancel orders from countries that are not on our approved list. If you have questions, please contact us.

How can I pay for my order?
  The most convenient way to pay is using a major credit (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). When you pay by credit card, your bank will convert your country's currency to the correct amount in US dollars. The charge will appear on your credit card statement in your currency, saving you the trouble and expense of exchanging it yourself.
Are your prices in U.S. currency?
  Yes. All of our prices are reflected in U.S. currency. Please visit a currency converter to calculate the actual cost of your purchase in your country's currency.
Can I order by telephone, email or fax?
  At this time, we regret that we can accept only international orders processed on-line through our secure ordering system. By using our Website for ordering, your transaction is processed using the highest level of encryption and security available.
Can I pay by bank transfer?
  We regret that we no longer accept payment by bank transfer.
How are products shipped outside of the United States?
  International orders will be shipped via USPS Global Express, FedEx International Priority or FedEx International Economy. You may choose your preferred shipping method during checkout.
How long will it take to receive my order?
  Because international orders require additional processing, they make take longer to ship than domestic orders. Orders being shipped via FedEx options will usually ship within two business days if all items are in stock. Please note that orders shipped via USPS Global Express will take longer to ship. You can always log in and see the status of your order as it moves through our process.

We understand that you want your purchase, and we want to get your order to you quickly. We work very hard to be prompt and accurate. The actual receipt time for international orders will vary according to distance traveled and your country's customs process.

When will my order ship and what are my shipping charges?
  Shipping charges are based on the weight of your order and the destination country. During the checkout process you will be presented with your shipping options. Choose the shipping option you prefer and the cost will be added to your order. We will ship your order shortly after we receive payment from you and your payment details are verified.

Please note that we do not ship to mail box locations or shipping consolidators.

International orders may be subject to customs fees, import taxes, duties, or other fees imposed by your government. Bookmark does not charge these fees, and we have no control over the amount of the fees. All such fees are your responsibility, and are not included in the shipping charges quoted to you. Please contact your customs office for information about additional fees.

What is your return policy?
  Our goal is to provide the best service at the lowest possible price. To keep our prices low, we regret that we are unable to accept returns for exam reference materials, most code books, and opened CD-ROMs and videos. If you are uncertain which code book you need, please contact the building department in the jurisdiction in which you will be working, or the company with whom you will be testing, to ensure you are purchasing the correct book. All returned items must be received in new, resaleable condition.

Most code books are nonreturnable. If you have already opened the shrink wrap on looseleaf books, videos or CD-ROMs, we regret that we cannot accept them back.

Shipping charges are nonrefundable, and all returns must be sent postage prepaid. We will not accept any returns sent collect. Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return any of the following items for a full refund:

  • Any book, other than a code book or book designated as an exam reference or study guide, in new condition.
  • Any unopened CD-ROMs or other software products.
  • Any other merchandise in new condition with original packaging and accessories.
Please note that we can process returns and refunds only for items purchased from Bookmark. You can also cancel unshipped items by calling us at (800) 642-1288.

If you refuse delivery on a package, you are responsible for the return shipping costs, as well as any outstanding duties, fees, tariffs or taxes.

Returns Procedure

Simply indicate the reason for your return, include the packing slip with your return authorization number, and wrap the package securely. For your protection, we recommend that you use UPS or Insured Parcel Post for shipment. We cannot be responsible for damage or loss on items you are returning to us. If the products are lost or damaged, you must file the claim for compensation with the shipping company. You can obtain a return authorization number from our customer service department at (800) 642-1288.

If you do not have your packing slip, please indicate the order number on a separate piece of paper and send the package to the following address:
