This study guide was written to be used for self-study or to supplement classroom training in the
subjects covered in the 1997 Uniform Mechanical Code: installation and maintenance of heating,
ventilating, cooling and refrigeration systems. For each UMC chapter, there is explanatory material,
followed by test questions. This book also includes a trade exam, two general exams and a math exam
to further test your knowledge. Technical drawings of buildings and mechanical systems are provided
where necessary. The trade exam on gas piping includes piping diagrams to size. |
