This new edition has been updated throughout and will put engineering formulas most used on the job at your fingertips. It has been printed on one side of the page only, giving you room to include your own notes.
The contents have been broken down into separate subjects, designated with a capital letter, and the various formulas have been grouped under corresponding lowercase letters and numbered chronologically. This method enables the formulae used in any particular calculation to be indicated.
This newly revised pocket guide provides engineers, scientists, technicians and students with thousands of essential technical and mathematical formulas, including hundreds of diagrams to simplify and speed their calculations. Now Engineering Formulas, 8th Edition, includes a new section on control engineering.
From the Preface
The purpose of this collection of technical formulae is to provide a brief, clear and handy guide to the more important technical and mathematical forumulae. Since the book has been printed on one side of the page only, the facing pages are available for additional notes.
Each separate subject has been associated with a capital letter. The various forumulae have been grouped under corresponding small letters and numbered serially. This method enbales the formulae used in any particular calculation to be indicated.
The section HEAT has been enlarged by the application HVAC (heating, ventilating and air conditioning), in which many tables with thumb values are included.
Contents:
