- 2007 Building Code of New York State. Based on the 2003 International Building Code the 2007 New York State Building Code features time-tested safety concepts, updated means of egress and interior finish requirements, comprehensive roof provisions, seismic engineering provisions, innovative construction technology, revamped structural provisions, reorganized occupancy classifications, and the latest industry standards in material design.
- 2007 Residential Code of New York State. Based on the 2003 International Residential Code the 2007 New York State Residential Code has been updated to reflect the latest technological advances in building design and construction and is a companion to the Building Code. This code also contains plumbing, mechanical and fuel gas provisions that coordinate with the Plumbing Code, Mechanical Code and Fuel Gas Code.
- 2007 Fire
Code of New York State. The 2007 New York State Fire Code is based on the 2003 International Fire Code. Topics addressed in the code include fire department access, fire hydrants, automatic sprinkler systems, fire-alarm systems, fire and explosion hazards safety, hazardous materials storage and use, provisions to protect and assist first responders, industrial processes, and fire-safety requirements for new and existing buildings and premises.
- 2007 Plumbing Code of New York State. Based on the 2003 International Plumbing Code, the 2007 New York State Plumbing Code presents consistent requirements that provide comprehensive regulation of plumbing systems, setting minimum regulations for plumbing facilities in terms of both performance and prescriptive objectives.
- 2007 Mechanical Code of New York State. Based on the 2003 International Mechanical Code. The code establishes minimum regulations for mechanical systems using prescriptive and performance-related provisions.
- 2007 Fuel Gas Code of New York State. The 2007 New York State Fuel Gas Code is based on the 2003 International Fuel Gas Code. The Fuel Gas Code addresses the design and installation of fuel gas systems and gas-fired appliances through requirements that emphasize performance.
- 2007 Property Maintenance Code of New York State. The 2007 New York State Property Maintenance Code is based on the 2003 International Property Maintenance Code. The Property Maintenance Code provides requirements for continued use and maintenance of plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire-protection systems in existing residential and nonresidential structures
- 2007 New York State Energy Conservation Construction Code. Based on the 2003 International Energy Conservation Code. It contains provision which encourage energy conservation through efficiency in envelope design, mechanical systems, lighting systems, and the use of new materials and techniques
- 2007 New York State Existing Building Code. Based on the 2003 International Existing Building Code. It contains requirements for improving and upgrading existing buildings to conserve resources and building history while achieving appropriate levels of safety.
