About the Author
Lynn Underwood CBO is the chief building official for the City of Norfolk, Virginia, and president of the Virginia Building and Code Officials Association. Mr Underwood received Bachelor's degrees in both Journalism and Engineering Technology from New Mexico State University. Certified in 11 categories from the International Code Council, Mr Underwood also teaches contractor training and code-related classes at the community college level and at the Virginia Building Code Academy. He has served in a Building Code advisory capacity for international outreach to the Nations of El Salvador and Afghanistan. |
