The 2007 Oregon Fire Code is a fully integrated custom code based on the 2006 International Fire Code. It is printed in looseleaf format and includes a custom binder.
The 2007 Oregon Fire Code is authorized by ORS 476.030, adopted by OAR 837 Division 40, and has an effective date of April 1, 2007.
The 2007 Oregon Fire Code establishes the minimum requirements consistent with nationally recognized good practice for providing a reasonable level of life safety and property protection from the hazards of fire, explosion or dangerous conditions in new and existing buildings, structures and premises and to provide safety to fire fighters and emergency responders during emergency operations as authorized by ORS 476.030. |
