The International Code Council and T. Eric Stafford & Associates, LLC is proud to introduce the question-and-answer application guide dedicated exclusively to the provisions of the 2007 Florida Building Code, Residential (FBCR). The questions presented in this document, are commonly asked questions that arise in the application of code provisions during design, plan review, construction, and daily code enforcement. Many of the answers include helpful illustrations (not drawn to scale) that provide a clear understanding of both the intent and meaning of the code text. This document is an essential resource for anyone involved with the Florida Building Code, Residential provisions, including architects, inspectors, building officials, plans examiners, structural engineers, civil engineers, instructors, and students.
