The 2006 City of Seattle Building Code consists of the 2006 International Building Code and City of Seattle amended language fully integrated into a City of Seattle Building Code binder.
The effective date of the 2006 edition of the Seattle Building Code is November 10, 2007. The effective date will be followed by a 60-day transition period during which applicants can choose to submit their projects entirely under either the 2003 or 2006 codes. Beginning on January 9, 2008, all permit applications must comply with the 2006 Seattle Codes. |
