The International Code Council and T. Eric Stafford and Associates, LLC, are proud to introduce the first question-and-answer application guide dedicated exclusively to the 2004 Florida Building Code, Building. The questions presented in this document, 2004 Florida Building Code, Building Application and Interpretations Guide are commonly asked questions that arise in the application of code provisions during design, plan review, construction and daily code enforcement. Many of the answers include helpful illustrations (not drawn to scale) that provide a clear understanding of both the intent and meaning of the code text. This document is an essential resource for anyone involved in building construction in the State of Florida, including architects, inspectors, building officials, plans examiners, structural engineers, civil engineers, instructors and students.
