| Adopted on May 5th, 2003, the provisions of these new codes will be enforced statewide on November 5th, 2003. During this six-month grace period, you have the option of using these new codes or the previous edition.
Based on the 2000 International Residential Code, which reflects the latest technological advances in building design and construction. Contains mechanical, fuel gas and plumbing provisions that coordinate with the International Mechanical Code, International Fuel Gas Code and International Plumbing Code.
Note: We refer to this as the 2003 edition because it was amended, adopted, and will go into effect in the year 2003. The code is based on the 2000 editions of the International Codes, and has the year 2000 printed on the actual books. |
