The 2003 New Jersey Codes Complete Set includes the following codes in looseleaf format:
- 2003 New Jersey Building Code Based on the 2000 International Building Code, which features time-tested safety concepts, updated means of egress and interior finish requirements, comprehensive roof provisions, seismic engineering provisions, innovative construction technology, revamped structural provisions, reorganized occupancy classifications, and the latest industry standards in material design.
- 2003 New Jersey Residential Code. Based on the 2000 International Residential Code, which reflects the latest technological advances in building design and construction. Contains mechanical, fuel gas and plumbing provisions that coordinate with the 2000 International Mechanical Code, 2000 International Fuel Gas Code and 2000 International Plumbing Code.
Adopted on May 5th, 2003, the provisions of these new codes became effective statewide on November 5th, 2003.
Note: We refer to these as the 2003 editions because they were amended, adopted, and will go into effect in the year 2003. The codes are based on the 2000 editions of the International Codes, and have the year 2000 printed on the books. |
