| The 2003 Michigan Mechanical Code became effective on December 31, 2003. It is based on the 2003 International Mechanical Code, published by the International Code Council, and incorporates amendments adopted by the State of Michigan.
The 2003 Michigan Mechanical Code Rule 901a states: The provisions of the International Mechanical Code, 2003 edition, except for Sections 103.2, 103.4, 104.2, 106.5.1 to 106.5.3, 107.1.2 to 107.1.2.3, 109.2 to 109.7 and Appendix B govern the construction, alteration, relocation, demolition, use and occupancy of buildings and structures. With the exceptions noted, the code is adopted in these rules by reference. |
